Congratulations to Jess, who has successfully achieved the Cyber Essentials ACE Practitioner qualification.
Jess works with Andrew in our Cyber Division, helping clients to improve their own computer security and gain the standards they need to work in their industry, proving that they are secure suppliers.
Cyber Essentials, of course, is the government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats. As well as complying with Cyber Essentials ourselves, we at datamills are able to help customers to align themselves with the standard.
What is an ACE practitioner?
An ACE practitioner is someone who is proficient in basic cyber hygiene techniques and the implementation of controls required by the Cyber Essential scheme. Once they have passed the standard necessary, they are then listed on the register of quality assured ACE Practitioners. This register is the place to go to check whether an independent IT company is quality assured to help businesses implement the requirements of Cyber Essentials.
Andrew is already an ACE practitioner, so we now have 2 members of the team who are fulled registered and able to support clients on their cyber security journey.
