YMCA White Rose

The challenge

When YMCA White Rose began the process of merging three of its centres, there was potential for a logistical nightmare to ensue. They needed to integrate their systems, processes and programs without bringing their IT to its knees. As is often the case for charitable organisations, YMCA White Rose works with fairly limited resources and therefore doesn’t have access to the most up-to-date equipment. This meant that they needed a solution that wouldn’t put further strain on their machines, but was powerful enough to facilitate collaboration across a large team.

We met with CEO David Sargent to discuss the needs of his growing team, made up of full-time staff and volunteers of all ages and levels of computer literacy. It was clear that David needed a user-friendly program that would make communication and teamwork as easy as possible. We recommended Samepage.

The solution

We knew Samepage would be a good fit for YMCA White Rose because its intuitive interface makes it accessible to users of all abilities. The workflow management tool stops wires getting crossed by keeping content in context. Samepage allows whole teams to have discussions around to-do lists, events and documents, so everyone can see where a project is up to, and view feedback all in one place. Clogged email inboxes are a thing of the past for YMCA, as now they can keep their conversation going on one platform. This also saves the team valuable time that can be spent writing grants and managing the projects that make such a difference to the local community.

The feedback

“We needed a user-friendly, intuitive, and non-threatening solution that was powerful, could seamlessly fit into our workflows, that we could afford, and would grow with us. We chose Samepage. We’ve been using it for three years and I can honestly say that we wouldn’t be as successful as we are today without it.”
