Digital Cafe Network unveils new Woodseats Business Networking event

A new networking event designed especially for small businesses in the S8 / Woodseats area of Sheffield is being hosted by Digital Cafe Network (led by Andrew Mills of datamills).

Datamills (UK) ltd is a local IT company, based in Woodseats, which has been serving local small-to-medium businesses, as well as charities for over 16 years.

For a good number of years, Andrew, managing director of datamills, has been running Digital Cafe Network, as a way of providing education and networking opportunities for small businesses in the region.  Each event is held in a place that serves good coffee, and includes a presentation or workshop on subjects including:

  • how to market your business using social media,
  • how to keep your business data secure,
  • how to use video in your marketing,
  • how to boost your website up the search engine listings
  • and many more…

In addition to the education slot, there is the opportunity to network with other businesses represented at the meeting, and to pool ideas and learn from each other’s experiences.

Now, for the first time, Digital Cafe Network is proud to announce a new event – Woodseats Business Networking!

Woodseats Business Networking is kicking off on Tuesday 27th February 2024 at The Herd on Holmhirst Road in Woodseats, Sheffield 8.

We will be getting together from 3pm for a 3.30pm start, and there are 2 distinct focuses to this first meeting:

  • We’ll be having a look at the “5 fundamentals of social media” by social media guru Rik Courtney, founder of Be More Social, an award-winning social media marketing company.  Rik’s presentations are always high-energy, entertaining and informative.  Not to be missed!
  • After a coffee break, and right at the end of the day, so that local business owners can come after work, we’ll be talking about how to use the domain woodseats.co.uk to best benefit local businesses and residents.  Bring your ideas!
