Apologies for the lack of news articles over the last few weeks… we’ve been kind of busy….
We’ve MOVED!
We had really outgrown our few small rooms downstairs in the main Nursery Works building on Little London Road. And with recruitments in mind, we couldn’t wait any longer. We had to find somewhere larger! And we have. And now we’re there!
If you’ve ever popped in to see us at the old office, the good news is that you won’t have to learn the way to somewhere new. We’re still on the same site – Nursery Works on Little London Road in Sheffield. But we now have a separate building to ourselves. Units 3 a and b. We’re the first building on the right as you come through the main central gates onto the Nursery Works site (not the gates near the railway bridge at the end of the site).
We have plenty of space for fixing computers, setting up and testing new equipment. We have a big office space that fits us all in, with room for a couple more (news on that coming soon…!). And we even have a meeting area, that we hope might be used for Digital Cafe in the future, amongst other things.
We’re still unpacking a few boxes, and a little bit of building work remains to be completed, but after a long Saturday with the whole team (and some other willing volunteers) in, we were up and running on Monday as though nothing had ever happened. We have an amazing team! Thankyou to everyone who worked so hard to make the move run so smoothly!
We’d love to invite everyone round to see where we are, and to welcome you to our new space, but unfortunately we still need to be a little bit cautious of unnecessary gatherings as COVID still lingers. However, if you’re ever passing, do drop by and pop your head round the door – we’d love to see you!
