Coronavirus financial support for your business

The coronavirus pandemic has hit different businesses in different ways.

If your business has suffered as a result of the pandemic, there may be grants, loans or tax relief available to you.

In July 2020, the government announced £20 million of grants to boost the recovery of small businesses.

These grants are administered locally by the various “Growth Hubs”.  There is a network of these growth hubs covering the entire country.  Our local growth hub is the “Sheffield City Region Growth Hub“, which covers Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster, as well as the surrounding areas.  If you are based outside of this area, you can find your local growth hub by checking this map.

If you are in the Sheffield City Region area, click here to find out how the Sheffield City Region Growth Hub can help your business.  Loans of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available.

It may be that your website needs updating, or that you need your workforce to be based at home some of the time, with the secure IT system to make this possible.  It may be that you need some business advice or coaching to help you galvanise an improved business model.  With a grant to enable you to realise these aims, you can move forward, and ensure that you keep trading profitably and competitively into 2022 and beyond.
