Cyber attack – incident response planning for your business

What is the first thing you would do if your business suffered a cyber attack?

Having a plan in place means that you won’t have to ask this question in a moment of crisis.  You’ll know what to do, and can work through your plan calmly.  A plan can help to mitigate the negative impact that a security incident has on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your critical assets.

How on earth do I even start to plan?

We know that this can seem an overwhelming task for a small to medium enterprise (SME).  And that’s why we’re bringing you “Cyber Attack – Stand and Deliver!” at Digital Cafe.

“Cyber Attack – Stand and Deliver! will use material developed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) especially for SMEs.  The NCSC recognised that SMEs may not have the resources to develop their own detailed emergency response plans.  This prompted them to come up with resources to help SMEs test and practise their response to a cyber attack.

We’re giving you the opportunity to benefit from applying the resources to your own business, in the Digital Cafe environment, where help is on hand if you need anything explaining.

“Cyber Attack – Stand and Deliver! will be at 10am on Thursday 9th May 2019 at The Library in Attercliffe, Sheffield.  The cost is £20 per attendee.  Click here to book.
