Microsoft To-Do has arrived!
“From work to play, To-Do is the easiest way to get stuff done, every day“, says Microsoft of the new feature.
What’s it for?
Have a look at this 1-minute video about To-Do.
Microsoft have announced To-Do as an updated Office 365 feature, to help you manage, prioritise, and complete the most important things you need to achieve every day. To-Do will rollout starting in early March and will finish by the end of the month.
Who can get it?
Microsoft To-Do will be available for all Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online users. Simply go to the app launcher to get started.
Microsoft Exchange Online is part of Microsoft Office 365. It provides access to emails, calendars, contacts and tasks on any device. Literally ANY device. That includes desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablets and Apple systems, as well as mobile devices like iPhones, Androids, BlackBerry devices, Windows Mobile and Windows Phones… In other words, it allows you to work anywhere!
So, if you’re using MS Exchange Online, you can now add To-Do’s organising features to the list of things you can do from wherever you are.
What if I don’t want it?
If you like the sound of To-Do, you don’t need to do anything to prepare for it. Simply go to your app launcher to get going. But, if you decide it’s not for you, or not a feature you want to staff to have access to on their devices, you’ll need to disable To-Do licences for your organisation. This can be done using the MS 365 Admin Portal.
I don’t understand!
