Calling all Derbyshire businesses! This is for you….

datamills teams up with Police to keep your business secure

As part of datamills’ commitment to keeping businesses safe from crime using computers, we have teamed up with two local Police departments.  We have previously written about our partnership with the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Cyber Crime Unit (RCCU), a specialist police department.  The RCCU works with the National Crime Agency and other partners, in the UK and abroad, to investigate and prevent the most serious cyber crime offences.

Now, recommended by the Yorkshire and Humber unit, we have also established links with the Derbyshire Cyber Crime Unit.  This means that the same level of service is now available to our customers who are located in Derbyshire.

Free advice available

The Derbyshire Police Cyber Protect Officer, Natasha Sagar, is available to visit your business, free of charge, to give advice about online security, email security, data security and so on.  Says Natasha, “My role as a Cyber Protect Officer for Derbyshire Constabulary is to prepare, prevent & protect SME’s from cyberattacks around Derbyshire”.

Free half hour consultation

If your business is based in Derbyshire, Natasha is willing to spend half an hour with your management team to explain where you could save money, and to provide you with independent advice on how to protect your business reputation and finances.

For more information, contact Andrew on 0114 287 0510.  He can give you further details, and arrange for Natasha to contact you directly.

Free staff awareness training

The Derbyshire Cyber Crime Unit also provides staff awareness training.  This too, could be available to your business free-of-charge.

For more information, or further questions on any aspect of computer security, have a look at our website, or call Andrew on 0114 287 0510.
