Four-legged friends at the Sheffield Animal Centre (RSPCA Sheffield branch) will be having a happier Christmas as the weather gets colder this year – thanks to local IT company, datamills. datamills has been named a “Local Hero” by RSPCA Sheffield branch.
Every year thousands of animals suffer from neglect, cruelty and abuse. Datamills wanted to help RSPCA Sheffield to end their misery. The RSPCA is a registered charity in England and Wales and only exists because of public donations and support. So, when General Manager, Tony Benham, approached datamills for help with IT at the Sheffield Animal Centre, we were only too glad to oblige.
Staff at the Sheffield Animal Centre have all on trying to meet the needs of their many and vulnerable animal friends. The last thing they need is to be chasing around trying to sort out computers as well. So our datamills technical staff visited the Centre, and installed security, monitoring and other support software free-of-charge. The computers are now kept under the watchful eye of the datamills team, to make sure they stay protected and working optimally. This leaves Tony and his team free to give all their attention to their furry residents.
We are delighted to be able to support such a hard-working team of dedicated people, who are doing a fantastic job to make Sheffield a better place every day. Click here to learn more about the work datamills does with charities.
Datamills would like to wish Tony and all his team at the Sheffield Animal Centre (and especially all their special guests!) a very Happy Christmas and New Year!
