From February 2nd 2016, Microsoft have changed upgrade to Windows 10 from “optional” to “recommended”. This can mean that your machine will automatically upgrade to Windows 10, without your knowledge or decision.
If any software on your computer has compatibility problems with Windows 10, you could end up with crucial computer packages not working. If your computers run any other devices (such as the CCTV one of our customers had problems with), including peripherals such as printers and scanners, they can fail if the drivers are not compatible with Windows 10.
Make sure that your computer won’t upgrade to Windows 10 until you’re ready, by changing the upgrade settings. If you need any help doing this, contact the datamills office on the number at the top of the page.
