In response to rising levels of SPAM emails, datamills is urging all email clients to add SPAM protection to their email accounts. Because we think it’s so important, we are waiving the usual £45 setup fee during January and February 2016.
In January last year, 30% of the emails we handled were SPAM; by December this had climbed to 74%. We want to protect your business and the data you have. SPAM is the main way computer systems are compromised, by fooling the user into clicking on links, attachments etc.
We offer a SPAM protection system for our email accounts which:
- filters out 99.9% of unwanted emails for you.
- uses multiple anti-virus engines updated every 5 minutes to remove even the newest threats
- guarantees 100% detection of all email-borne malware.
It also gives you the added benefits of:
- business continuity should the mail server go down – access the mail filter control panel to continue sending and receiving emails.
- message tracking logs – check whether or not an important email was delivered
Each week you receive a status report email letting you know what the filter has stopped during that week. You also receive digest reports letting you know what the filter has identified as definite or possible junk. This gives you the chance to review the email sender and subject, and manually allow through any genuine emails that have been caught in the filter.
